Description:

The RN Open Heart Surgery Nurse provides vital assistance during open heart surgeries, managing the patient care process before, during, and after surgery. This role includes handling high-tech equipment such as ECMO and Impella, monitoring patient status during surgeries, and ensuring seamless post-operative recovery. The nurse will be responsible for managing surgical instruments, assisting with endovascular cases, and handling on-call shifts, including weekends.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in open heart surgery or cardiovascular operating rooms.
• Proficient in managing ECMO, Impella, IABP, and other cardiovascular technologies.
• Experience assisting with open and endovascular cardiovascular surgeries.
• Strong patient monitoring and surgical assistance skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage call duties, including weekends.
