Description:

The RN Cardiac Critical Care Nurse provides intensive care to patients with severe heart conditions, specifically those recovering from cardiac surgeries such as CABG or valve replacement. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, managing medication, and overseeing the post-operative recovery process. This position requires expertise in managing complex devices such as Impella and ECMO and delivering care during the critical recovery phase.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care or cardiovascular settings.
• Experience with managing Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, and temporary pacing wires.
• Familiarity with ECMO, Impella, and IABP devices.
• Ability to handle high-acuity patient care and make critical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork with the interdisciplinary care team.
