Description:

The RN Cardiovascular ICU Nurse is responsible for providing critical care to patients recovering from complex heart surgeries, including those involving Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, and temporary pacing wires. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and assisting with post-operative recovery for patients who have undergone open-heart surgery. The nurse is expected to manage advanced technologies like Impella, IABP, and ECMO, ensuring the patient's stability throughout recovery.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in a cardiovascular ICU.
• Expertise in managing Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, and temporary pacing wires.
• Knowledge of post-operative open-heart recovery protocols.
• Ability to operate advanced equipment like Impella, IABP, ECMO, and CRRT (Prismaflex).
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
