Description:

The RN Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse provides critical care for patients who have undergone heart surgeries or other cardiac interventions. This role involves managing complex devices such as Impella, IABP, and ECMO while providing post-operative care for patients recovering from procedures like open-heart surgery. A 12-hour night shift is required, with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in cardiovascular critical care or ICU nursing.
• Experience with post-operative recovery in cardiac surgery, including the use of Impella, IABP, and ECMO.
• Knowledge of CRRT and bedside ECMO protocols.
• Ability to assess and intervene in life-threatening situations.
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts with on-call duties.
