Job Title: Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician

Duration: 6 Months

Location: West Point, PA

Rate: $44/hr on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician to support the development of primary and secondary packaging for oral solid dosage and sterile pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will play a key role in package system qualification, material selection, and commercialization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of packaging for traditional pharmaceuticals, including oral solid dosage forms and sterile products
• Provide input on primary and secondary packaging material selection
• Define package images for commercialization and lead distribution qualification efforts to ensure package robustness
• Author packaging specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
• Support relevant documentation for NDA’s, WMA’s, and JNDA’s
• Collaborate with packaging component suppliers, Global Packaging Technology Operations, Packaging Site Operations, and Contract Manufacturing Operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, or Pharmaceutical Science
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in package development
• Strong technical writing skills with experience in authoring protocols and executing studies
• Understanding of package development processes and engineering principles
• Experience building collaborative partnerships within cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to make rapid, disciplined decisions
