Description:

The RN Telemetry Med/Surg Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery or managing various medical conditions. This role involves closely monitoring patients using telemetry, administering medications, and providing post-operative care. The nurse will assess patient needs, collaborate with healthcare teams, and educate patients on managing their recovery. BLS, ACLS, and CPI Verbal Intervention certifications are required, with the option to complete CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or telemetry care.
• Skilled in telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, and recovery management.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI Verbal Intervention Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and provide patient education.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
