RN Surgical Recovery Nurse (Pre/Post)

Description:

The RN Surgical Recovery Nurse works with patients before and after surgeries or medical procedures. This role involves preoperative care, including assessments and patient education, and postoperative care, including recovery monitoring and pain management. The nurse will work closely with the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions for patients throughout their procedure journey. Weekend on-call shifts are required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in surgical recovery or pre/post-operative nursing.
• Skilled in pain management, patient assessments, and recovery monitoring.
• Experience with assisting in anesthesia and post-operative care.
• Ability to educate patients on recovery expectations and self-care.
• Flexibility to handle weekend on-call shifts.
