Job Overview:

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide essential oral care and preventive treatment. This role involves performing routine dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and assisting in treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove calcareous deposits, stains, and plaque from teeth.
• Apply topical treatments such as fluoride and desensitizing agents.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Take and expose dental X-rays.
• Polish teeth for a smooth, clean finish.
• Record medical histories and vital signs.
• Chart caries and periodontal conditions to assist in treatment planning.
• Apply pit and fissure sealants as needed.

Required Certifications:

✔ Valid Dental Hygienist License issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required).
✔ X-ray certification preferred but not mandatory.
