Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, verifying personal and insurance information
• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during patient examinations
• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and symptoms in electronic health records (EHR)
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, draw blood, and collect lab specimens as directed
• Schedule appointments, process referrals, and handle prescription refills
• Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment
• Assist with minor procedures and wound care as needed
• Handle medical supply inventory and ensure proper stock levels

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred but not required (varies by employer)
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is a plus
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
