Job Title: Operating Room Technologist

Duties:

• Set up and maintain sterile environments for surgical procedures.
• Provide surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations.
• Monitor and enforce aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts with the circulating nurse.
• Handle and label surgical specimens as directed.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Clean and restock the operating room after procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in surgical scrub procedures and sterile techniques.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.

Education:

• High school diploma required.
• CST certification required.
• Training in operating room technology preferred.
