Echocardiography Technician - NYCTECH

Job Title: Echocardiography Technician

Duties:

• Conduct echocardiograms using advanced imaging techniques, including Doppler and stress echocardiography.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and make necessary adjustments during imaging.
• Maintain proper operation and calibration of all ultrasound equipment.
• Support patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Document diagnostic findings in patient records and maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Provide mentorship to new staff and students as part of on-the-job training programs.

Skills Required:

• Current registry credentials required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
• Physical capability to handle patient transfers and extended periods of standing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
