• South River, NJ:
  • Monday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Freehold, NJ:
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support physician services in South River and Freehold, NJ. This role involves providing patient care, performing diagnostic tests, managing records, and ensuring the efficient operation of the clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination and treatment rooms, supplies, and instruments for patient visits.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures as directed.
• Record vital signs and document findings in electronic medical records.
• Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment efficiently.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including EKGs, PFTs, Audiometry, and Titmus Tests, upon evaluation completion.
• Conduct lab testing such as UDS, BAT, Phlebotomy, and other required procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, files, and reports.
• Support billing and collection processes as necessary.
• Use computer software to manage and streamline office systems.
• Follow strict confidentiality protocols while addressing the diverse needs of patient populations.
• Perform additional assigned duties and projects aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Certifications (one or more of the following):
  • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) through NHA, NCCT, or AAMA
  • RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) through AMT or NAHP
  • AMCA or NCMA certification
• Additional Certification: Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
