Job Description

We are seeking a Lab Automation Specialist to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, operating automated laboratory equipment in support of clinical vaccine programs. This position will involve working with automated systems to streamline laboratory processes and contribute to the efficient development of laboratory assays.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to operate automated laboratory equipment for clinical vaccine programs.
  • Follow established protocols and design new protocols to migrate assays from the bench to automated platforms.
  • Contribute to the validation and implementation of novel automated workflows for laboratory processes.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • At least 2 years of real-world experience in lab automation.
  • Expertise in liquid class and method development on a Biomek system.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and Visual Basic.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in automated assay execution.
  • Experience with automation scheduling software such as Thermo Momentum, Biosero Green Button Go, or HighRes Cellario.
  • Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Previous work experience in a GxP environment.

Heavily Preferred

  • Experience with DART and reporting systems.
