Duration: 3 Months + (Extendable)

Shift Options:

• Morning (1st Shift): 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
• Afternoon (2nd Shift): 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Night (3rd Shift): 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Flexible Shifts: 10 or 12-hour shifts also available

Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and plays an integral role in achieving patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hygienic care, assist with ambulation, and support meals as directed by the RN.
• Collect non-interpretable data systematically, focusing on physical, psychosocial, and cognitive aspects.
• Position patients, provide pre- and post-operative care, and assist with post-mortem care as needed.
• Ensure a safe patient environment by responding promptly to call lights and reporting patient condition changes to the RN.
• Tailor care delivery to the specific needs of the patient population (e.g., age, culture, language, sensory impairments) and communicate at a level suitable for the patient or caregiver.
• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with patients, visitors, and medical staff.

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

Certification Requirements:

• Current valid NY State LPN License.
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
