Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 3 Months + (Extendable)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 03:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Position Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist serves patients by preparing medications, providing pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and monitoring patient drug therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and promptly.
Resolve inquiries regarding formulary and non-formulary medications, adhering to policies and procedures.
Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age and kinetics, supported by current literature.
Perform patient education, including proper dosage, medication schedules, potential side effects, and drug interactions, in accordance with departmental requirements.

Education Requirements: Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE).

Experience Requirements: 0-2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist.

Certification Requirements: Active New York State Pharmacist License.
