Job Title: Senior Procurement Analyst – Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
Location: Rahway, NJ
Duration: 6 months

Job Description: This position reports to the Associate Director of Professional Services Procurement and will lead the Advisory Services Program. The primary goals of this role are to:

  • Develop a global strategy and approach for management advisory services, ensuring a portfolio of consulting options that mitigate risk and meet evolving business needs.
  • Deliver high-quality management advisory services focused on ROI for executive leadership and business partners.
  • Provide procurement support to establish a global category strategy for management advisory services.

This position will refresh the current Advisory Services Procurement Strategy, including optimizing global category management, risk, and stakeholder management strategies, and supplier relationship programs. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders across corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Outcome Orientation:

    • Provide market intelligence and tailor procurement activities to align with stakeholder needs and industry trends.
  2. Category & Technical Expertise:

    • Propose enhancements to procurement processes incorporating emerging category trends.
  3. Change Management:

    • Identify stakeholders across the business, manage change activities, and secure support for initiatives.
  4. End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

    • Drive sourcing and supplier performance decisions that create competitive advantages.
  5. Negotiation and Contract Management:

    • Lead negotiation strategies, manage complex agreements, and ensure reduced risks.
  6. Sourcing Management Process:

    • Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing activities, including RFPs, vendor selection, and contracting.
  7. Supply Market Expertise:

    • Use industry knowledge to support sourcing decisions and provide marketplace insights.
  8. Productive Communication:

    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration across geographies.
  9. Diversity and Inclusion:

    • Expand opportunities with diverse suppliers and support diversity initiatives.
  10. Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Implement governance models, performance metrics, and foster innovation with key suppliers.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and business stakeholder processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of global procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
  • Expertise in indirect procurement, particularly in professional services and management advisory services.
  • Deep knowledge in category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and project execution.
