Job Title: Monitor Technician (CWR)
Location: Edison, NJ 08818

Schedule:

• Hours: 40/week, 8/day, 5 days/week
• Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (occasional 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Requirements: Every other weekend, 3 of 6 holidays, no on-call, float to ER as needed

Summary:
Responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms via telemetry, ensuring accurate reporting of abnormalities, and maintaining equipment functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry systems and report abnormalities.
• Admit/discharge patients from telemetry.
• Generate rhythm strips per protocol.
• Maintain equipment safety and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Perform light physical tasks and adapt care to patient needs.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years in healthcare, 1 year in cardiology, 2 years in acute care.
• Completion of a monitor technician course and arrhythmia exam.
• Proficiency with computer systems.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
