School Nurse - Anticipated Opening 2024-2025 School Year

Qualifications:

• Must hold a State DOE School Nurse Certification or be able to obtain Emergency School Nurse Certification
• Must hold CPR-AED Certification
• Experience working with elementary aged children Grades PK-4
• Pediatric experience with chronic and acute illnesses, preferred
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly using critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Ability to respond during evacuation situations.
• Ability to triage effectively.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
• Availability for school trips and summer work, preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions: Full Time, 10-month position, with benefits
