Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Overview: 

• We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves caring for intermediate-level patients in a surgical stepdown unit. Nurses will rotate between day and night shifts, with the schedule typically alternating every two weeks. 

Position Details: 

• Shifts Available: 4x12-hour shifts (days or nights), with a typical rotation of 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights 

• Experience Required: Experience in progressive care, surgical, or neuro/neurosurgical units preferred 

• Travel Pairs: Must be flexible with different shifts 

• First-Time Travelers: Approved 

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW) 

Unit Description: 

• This is a 24-bed unit that provides care for intermediate care patients, including surgical, neuro, trauma, and ventilator/high respiratory needs. It primarily serves as a vascular surgery stepdown unit, caring for patients who have undergone procedures like carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass grafts, and amputations.
