Job Title: Technical Specialist 4

Location: Remote

Work Schedule:

  • 8-10 hours per day, Monday to Friday (core hours: 7 AM - 6 PM)
  • On-call rotation required

Job Description: We are seeking a candidate with expertise in WebSphere Application Server and cloud system administration (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in multi-tier enterprise environments and integration platforms.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years in WebSphere administration
  • 2+ years in cloud product administration (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • 5+ years in application security product administration
  • 5+ years with integration platform administration
  • 5+ years working with government agencies
  • 5+ years providing senior-level technical consulting
  • 3+ years in guiding the use of emerging technologies

Skills:

  • Expertise in Unix/Linux/Windows OS and system administration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Proficiency with cloud monitoring tools (Azure Monitor)
  • Strong troubleshooting in production environments (networking, IBM MQs, databases)
  • Experience in API development and integration (JSON, SOAP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage system/software audits and business requirements

Preferred Education:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study

Responsibilities:

  • Perform upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot WebSphere systems
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments
  • Collaborate with development teams for solution design and deployment
  • Advise and guide teams on API security, integration, and troubleshooting

Cloud Management:

  • Experience with deploying and managing applications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containers, and Microservices
