Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry CWR
Location: Edison, NJ 08818
Schedule: 36 hrs/week, 12 hrs/day, 3 days/week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), Every Other Weekend, Holidays as Needed
Contract: 13 weeks

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care for patients. This includes evaluating their needs, providing therapeutic interventions, and advocating for evidence-based practices in patient care. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and clinical skills to manage high-acuity patients in a telemetry setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Administer therapeutic nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Manage patient care, document interventions, and prioritize care.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and support their adoption.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice standards.
• Float within the hospital as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience.
• Experience in general Med/Surg; preferred experience with stroke, PICC dressing, and telemetry observation units.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to float throughout the hospital when necessary.

Education & Certifications:

• Required: ASN, Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Compact License.
• Preferred: BSN.
