Position: Customer Service Associate
Duration: 3+ Months (with possible extension)
Location: Springdale, AR

Shifts Available:

• Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Summary

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for managing relationships with carriers, customers, and sales teams for assigned accounts. This includes understanding the customer’s organization, product needs, processes, and procedures, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure a high level of customer service.

This position requires a flexible schedule, serving as a floating/fill-in role across various shifts, including nights, early mornings, and some weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the supply chain team and assigned external customers.
• Analyze and resolve incoming email inquiries promptly.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize multiple dispatch systems (e.g., TES, LME, Four Kites, OTR) and external scheduling platforms (e.g., Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network) to resolve logistics issues for various business units.
• Maintain knowledge of internal client policies, procedures, and software applications, as well as the organizational structure and procedures of external customers.
• Use available resources to identify cost-effective solutions that meet client and customer needs.
• Develop creative problem-solving strategies to address delivery-related challenges while ensuring positive representation of the organization.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics.
• Experience: 1-3 years of dispatch experience in transportation/logistics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications; ability to handle high volumes of email communication (up to 300+ emails daily).
• Communication Skills:
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective conflict management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
