Trauma Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - NJ Location

Job Title: Trauma Registered Nurse - Emergency Department 

Location: NJ (Multiple Locations - Hiring for Travel RNs) 
Hours per Week: 36.00 hours 
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week 

Job Summary: 

As a Trauma RN in the Emergency Department, you will specialize in managing patients experiencing severe trauma injuries. This role requires rapid assessment, stabilization, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams to provide life-saving care. You will be expected to handle high-pressure situations with precision and empathy. 

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver expert nursing care to trauma patients with acute injuries. 

• Perform triage and prioritize patient needs according to the severity of conditions. 

• Work collaboratively with trauma surgeons and other specialists to ensure optimal outcomes. 

• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families in critical situations. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• Minimum Experience: 18 months of trauma-focused ED nursing. 

• Recent ED Experience: Must have worked in a trauma-focused ED within the past six months. 

• Certifications: NJ RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
