Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - RN24-16008

Job Title: RN - Med/Surg
Location: Manhattan, NY
Pay Rate: $55 - $57/hour
Schedule: Nights, 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM
Department: Medical Surgical

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Provide direct care to pre- and post-surgery patients
• Administer medications, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Adjust and interpret specialized medical equipment and measurements
• Monitor patient vitals and report any adverse reactions to medications
• Collaborate with the team on discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-care
• Maintain and update patient records and charts
• Adhere to best practices and nursing standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS
• Valid NY RN License
