Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cardiovascular Specialist I to join our clinical care team on a contract basis. This role is crucial in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and ensuring that high-quality patient care and sterile conditions are maintained. The Cardiovascular Specialist I will work closely with the healthcare team in monitoring hemodynamic data, preparing the procedure room, and troubleshooting equipment as needed. This position requires an attentive professional who is responsive to diverse patient needs and committed to maintaining best practices in a high-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Monitor equipment throughout procedures, reporting any changes to the care team immediately.
• Retrieve supplies as directed by physicians and nurses and restock items post-procedure.
• Ensure all equipment, including monitoring devices, intravascular ultrasound, and pacemakers, are in working condition.
• Assist in transporting and positioning patients and provide direct support to the cardiologist during selective procedures.
• Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and assist in patient draping.
• Participate in product evaluations and monitor procedural supplies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath or EP lab, preferably within a similar healthcare setting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. A foreign MD who has passed the MBBS examination may also qualify.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write).

• Hours Per Week: 37.5
• Hours Per Day: 7.5
• Days Per Week: 5
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
