Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY
Pay Rate: $45 - $50/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Review patient histories and perform screenings for pacemakers and metal injuries
• Prepare and administer contrast dyes
• Address patient concerns and ensure comfort and calm during MRI scans
• Inspect MRI equipment regularly and schedule maintenance or repairs
• Position patients and perform MRI scans per physician specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized MRI room
• Train and support junior MRI Technologists and new staff
• Write reports and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
• Conduct quality assurance procedures and implement improvements

Requirements:

• 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• Current certification and registration in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT
