Accounting Analyst
General Summary & Scope
• The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for reviewing contracts/SOWs and IT invoices for appropriate coding and accounting treatment.
• Assist the Sr. Manager of IT Services in reconciling IT invoices based on hours logged in the PPM tool (Planview).
• Verify labor invoices against timesheets to ensure compliance with accounting policy (Capital vs. Expense).
• Analyze contracts and SOWs for pertinent details.
• Create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on information from SOWs.
• Work with vendors to track aging items and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with internal and external audit inquiries as required.
• Help ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Partner with business colleagues to collect information for accruals and adjustments.
