Accounting Coordinator
General Summary & Scope
• The Accounting Coordinator will review contracts/SOWs and IT invoices to ensure correct coding and accounting treatment.
• Support the Sr. Manager of IT Services by reconciling IT invoices based on hours entered in the PPM tool (Planview).
• Validate labor invoices against timesheets for adherence to accounting policy (Capital vs. Expense).
• Review contracts and SOWs for key information.
• Create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on details in SOWs.
• Collaborate with vendors to monitor aging items and ensure timely invoice payments.
• Partner with the Project Management Team to maintain financial accuracy.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Work with business partners to gather necessary information for accruals and adjustments.
