User Experience Designer 

General Summary & Scope

 
• The User Experience Designer will support and report to the Senior Manager, Digital User Experience within the eCommerce/Digital team. 
• This vital role will be instrumental in defining and shaping digital solutions through user-centered designs for web, mobile web, and mobile applications. 
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including creative designers, business stakeholders, development teams, and consumer research. 
• Review work and mentor other UXA resources as needed. 
• Represent the voice of the customer using insights from research, analytics, user experience best practices, and eCommerce industry knowledge. 
• Translate business requirements and user needs into innovative user experiences. 
• Conduct brainstorming sessions and workshops to gather UX insights. 
• Identify project research needs and work with the customer research team to prepare and execute studies. 
• Analyze findings and refine design approaches based on research results. 
• Perform competitive analyses and heuristic evaluations to enhance user experience. 
• Evaluate the usability of features and suggest improvements. 
• Collaborate with UX, creative, business, and development teams to devise user experience solutions. 
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of web and app UX best practices, effectively applying these practices to project work. 
• Create presentations, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other documentation to communicate design recommendations. 
• Participate in regular design reviews with creative teams and stakeholders to gather feedback. 
• Interact comfortably with executives at the highest levels of the company. 
• Resolve problems and roadblocks independently. 
• Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity. 
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and lead projects with minimal oversight. 
• Mentor and review work for other UXA resources, including contractors.
