UX Research and Design Lead
General Summary & Scope
• The UX Research and Design Lead will report to the Senior Manager, Digital User Experience within the eCommerce team.
• This critical role focuses on creating user-centered designs for web, mobile web, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative designers, business stakeholders, and development teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other UXA resources.
• Serve as the voice of the customer through insights derived from research and analytics.
• Transform business requirements and user needs into innovative user experiences.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops for UX direction.
• Identify research needs and coordinate with the customer research team to execute studies.
• Analyze research findings to refine design strategies.
• Conduct competitive analyses and heuristic evaluations to enhance usability.
• Evaluate usability and suggest improvements for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with UX, creative, and development teams to create user experience solutions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of web and app UX best practices.
• Create presentations, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other documentation to communicate design recommendations.
• Engage in regular design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback.
• Interact comfortably with executives at the highest levels of the company.
• Resolve issues independently as they arise.
• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Lead projects without significant oversight and mentor other UXA resources.
