Senior User Experience Designer
General Summary & Scope
• The Senior User Experience Designer will report to the Senior Manager, Digital User Experience within the eCommerce team.
• This role is key in delivering user-centered designs for web, mobile web, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including creative design, business stakeholders, and development teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other UXA resources.
• Act as the customer advocate using insights from research and analytics.
• Translate business and user needs into engaging user experiences.
• Lead workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather UX insights.
• Identify research requirements and work with the customer research team to execute studies.
• Analyze findings to refine design strategies.
• Conduct competitive analyses and heuristic evaluations.
• Assess usability and suggest changes for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with UX, creative, and development teams to implement user experience solutions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of web and app UX best practices.
• Produce documentation, including presentations, wireframes, and prototypes, to communicate design concepts.
• Engage in design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback.
• Comfortable interacting with executives and senior leadership.
• Proactively resolve challenges with minimal supervision.
• Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Lead projects independently and mentor other UXA resources.
