Digital Experience Designer
General Summary & Scope
• The Digital Experience Designer will report to the Senior Manager, Digital User Experience within the eCommerce team.
• This role is essential for delivering user-centered designs for web, mobile web, and mobile application experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative design, business stakeholders, and development.
• Coach and mentor other UXA resources as needed.
• Act as the voice of the customer, using insights from research, analytics, and industry expertise.
• Capture business requirements and user needs, transforming them into innovative experiences.
• Facilitate brainstorm sessions and workshops for UX direction.
• Identify research needs and coordinate with the customer research team or conduct research independently.
• Analyze research findings and refine design approaches accordingly.
• Conduct competitive analyses and heuristic evaluations to improve usability.
• Assess the usability of new and existing features, providing suggestions for improvement.
• Strategize with UX, creative, and development teams to formulate user experience solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of web and app UX best practices and communicate these effectively.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other documentation to convey design recommendations.
• Engage in regular reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback on design direction.
• Comfortably interact with executives at the company.
• Resolve challenges with minimal oversight.
• Manage multiple projects with varying complexities, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Lead projects independently and mentor other UXA resources.
