Job Title: Central Sterile Technician

Job Summary: Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Central Sterile Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of sterile processing and instrument preparation for surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in sterile techniques, surgical instrument identification, and equipment handling, contributing to safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile processing functions, including decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards in all aspects of sterile processing.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining sterile storage areas for surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability and accuracy of sterilized instruments.
• Maintain meticulous records related to sterilization processes and equipment usage.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in sterile processing is required; two years of experience is preferred.
• Education: Must hold Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.
• Education Level: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Schedule:

• Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Availability: Weekends and holidays as required
