As an RN in the Pediatric Emergency Center will provide expert care for pediatric patients experiencing a wide range of acute and critical conditions. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and implementing care plans for pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond swiftly to emergency situations in pediatric care.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Center.
Triage, assess, and implement care plans in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
Use Epic EMR to document care plans and patient information.
Requirements:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in Pediatric Emergency Care (Peds ER).
Experience in Pediatric Critical Care – Preferred.
Experience in general ER – Preferred.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Preferred.
