Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Pay Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr

Hours:

• Weekly: 36 hours
• Daily: 12 hours
• Schedule: 3 days per week

Job Summary:
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is essential in ensuring the operating room is prepared and maintained for surgical procedures. This role involves assisting the surgical team and upholding a sterile environment to facilitate optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked for each procedure.
• Prepare patients for surgery by properly cleaning and disinfecting incision sites.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and necessary supplies during operations.
• Track and manage surgical supplies before, during, and after surgeries.
• Stay informed on advancements in surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
