Med Surg Registered Nurse - MSRN24-13850

Job Title: RN - Med/Surg 

Location: New York, NY (10035)

Hours:

• Per Week: 40
• Per Day: 8
• Days Per Week: 5

Schedule Notes:

• Alternating weekends required
• Experience in Carter Skilled Nursing Facility and Long-Term Acute Care Hospital preferred
• Procedure room experience, conscious sedation, and endoscopy experience highly preferred

Duties:

• Provide nursing care in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Administer conscious sedation as needed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans

Skills:

• Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical settings
• Experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Community College, MBO)
• New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification required
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS (Queens only)

Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS
• RN License

Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write)
