Job Description:

We are seeking a registered Ultrasound Technologist with RVT certification to perform abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, breast, vascular imaging, and provide sonography guidance for interventional procedures. This role offers a 5x8-hour day shift, with a choice of either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, in a facility with two ultrasound rooms.

Requirements:

  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year
  • Certifications Required: ARDMS, BLS, RVT
  • First-Timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: On-call every third weekend
  • On-call Requirement: Yes, with a 90-minute callback time, from Saturday morning 7:00 AM to Monday morning 7:00 AM
  • Local Candidates Accepted: Yes (no radius restriction)
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes

Special Requirements:

  • Work Setting Experience: Adult, ER, High-Risk OB, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Portable Ultrasound
  • Equipment Experience: PACS and Philips
  • General Ultrasound Skills: Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis, Spleen
  • OB/GYN Skills: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trimester, Amniotic Fluid Index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Placenta Previa
  • Neonatal Ultrasound Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Renal, Bladder, Gender, Spine
  • Procedure Experience: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Ultrasound-Guided Biopsy/Fine Needle Aspiration
  • Renal/Pelvis Experience: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Uterus, Vaginal, Renal/Bladder
  • Small Parts Ultrasound: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum, Thyroid
  • Vascular Ultrasound: Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Duplex, Lower Extremity Venous
  • Additional Skills: Isolation Precaution Knowledge required, Epic experience preferred
