Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant for a 12-week contract. This role involves working a 4x10 schedule from 07:15 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour break in a 14-room clinic. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with specific skills required in both adult and pediatric outpatient clinic settings.

Requirements:

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Certifications Required: BLS, CMA, RMA, and a valid State License
• Floating Requirement: Yes, to other nearby clinics within a 20-mile radius; mid-shift floating may be needed
• Local Candidates Accepted: Yes (no radius restriction)
• Pending State License Accepted: Yes
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty

Special Requirements:

• Work Setting Experience: Adult and Pediatric Outpatient Clinics
• Clinic Specialty Experience: General/Family Practice, Internal Medicine
• Vital Sign Skills: 12 Lead ECG, Hearing screening, Height/Weight, Pulse Oximetry, Vision Testing, Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse
• Exam Prep Skills: Recording history, medications, allergies
• Procedure Skills: Biopsy, Dressing Change, Nebulizer Treatments, Pap Smear
• Injection Skills: Immunizations, Intradermal, Intramuscular
• Specimen Collection: Labeling specimens, throat swabs
• Other Professional Skills: Medication administration, TB Test administration, Ear Lavage, Follow-up phone calls, Rooming patients, Lab test review, Suture removal, Wound care
• Epic experience required
