Job Title: Network Technician
Location: Ocoee, FL
Duration: 12 months

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years in IT infrastructure/network environments.
• Preferred: Networking certifications and experience with HPE/Aruba equipment.

Summary: The Network Technician will support and maintain network systems, including wireless networks, ensuring stable and reliable service. Key responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting networks, managing LAN/WLAN/WAN operations, and using network management tools to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage network switch equipment.
• Monitor and optimize network performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN equipment.
• Plan for network capacity and risks.
• Apply OSI model knowledge to data flow management.
• Coordinate with Information Security on firewall rules.
• Utilize network management applications for fault identification.
• Adhere to departmental policies, including on-site travel.
• Track incidents and equipment transfers accurately.
• Contribute to Property Management Reports (PMRs).
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and travel to remote sites as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent experience.
