Job Title: MRI Technologist

Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour

Location: Manhattan, NY

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Job Description:

• Analyze patient histories and conduct screenings for pacemakers and injuries involving metal objects.
• Prepare and administer contrast dyes as required.
• Address patients’ concerns, ensuring their comfort and calmness during MRI scans.
• Perform regular inspections of MRI equipment and schedule maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Position patients accurately and conduct MRI scans in accordance with physicians' specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of MRI rooms at all times.
• Train and support junior MRI Technologists and new staff members.
• Write detailed reports and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders as necessary.
• Conduct quality assurance procedures and implement improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Relevant MRI Technologist certification and licensure.
• Proven experience in MRI scanning and patient care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of equipment and room safety.
