Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year to work with students in a full-time capacity. This position offers a 37.5-hour work week, and candidates will be responsible for working with students who have special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to support students in inclusive classroom settings.
• Provide differentiated instruction and interventions tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Monitor and assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid South Carolina Teaching License with Special Education (SPED) endorsement or have applied for it.
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
