Senior Artificial Intelligence Support Manager

We are seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Support Manager to oversee and manage the assessment, implementation, and enhancement of AI capabilities within the organization. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to assess AI maturity, develop AI use cases, and implement AI strategies that improve organizational performance. This role involves overseeing AI governance, change management, and leveraging automation and AI tools to optimize workflows and increase productivity.

    AI Maturity Assessment and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct assessments of the current data structure and AI maturity within the Department of HHS.
  • Identify and develop the appropriate AI use cases and technologies to improve organizational performance.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive AI strategy focused on governance, change management, and seamless integration into a government enterprise framework.

    AI Transformation and Implementation:

  • Leverage AI to boost government productivity by deploying tools and automation to streamline workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiencies, such as automated processes that eliminate repetitive, time-consuming tasks.
  • Deploy chatbots and other AI tools to handle simple service requests, improving response time and operational efficiency.

    Governance and Change Management:

  • Implement and oversee AI governance strategies, ensuring AI is applied responsibly and in alignment with HHS's goals.
  • Lead change management initiatives associated with the integration of AI tools, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption across various departments.

    Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:

  • Use industry best practices to avoid common pitfalls in AI transformation and optimize the deployment of AI technologies.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the AI strategies to ensure they align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.

    Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in AI strategy, implementation, and support, preferably within a government or healthcare setting.
  • Strong background in data structure assessment, AI governance, and change management.
  • Expertise in AI technologies, particularly in deploying automation tools, chatbots, and AI-driven processes.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to assess data structures, identify use cases, and improve system performance.
  • Ability to lead and execute AI transformation initiatives and oversee cross-functional collaboration.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, IT, or related field.
  • Advanced certifications in AI or Machine Learning are preferred.
