Senior Test Tools License Manager

We are seeking a Senior Test Tools License Manager to oversee the license management of test management tools at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, tracking, and optimizing the licenses associated with test management tools, ensuring compliance and supporting the organization’s testing and development processes.

    License Management for Test Tools:

• Manage and administer licenses for test management tools, ensuring they are properly allocated and available for development and testing teams.
• Track license usage and ensure compliance with software licensing agreements.
• Ensure licenses are renewed in a timely manner to prevent disruptions in testing workflows.

    Optimization and Cost Management:

• Analyze the usage of test tools to provide recommendations for optimizing licenses and reducing unnecessary costs.
• Work with procurement teams to negotiate license agreements and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.

    Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with testing teams, developers, and other stakeholders to understand their tool needs and ensure appropriate license provisioning.
• Communicate license availability, renewal schedules, and any potential changes or upgrades to relevant teams.

    Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of licenses, including usage reports, renewal dates, and compliance documentation.
• Generate regular reports on license usage trends and recommendations for improvements.

    Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in license management, specifically related to test management tools.
• Strong understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements, particularly in a testing or development environment.
• Proficient in managing and optimizing software licenses, with experience in test management tools.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills for tracking usage and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
