Senior Release Manager and Test Planning & Execution Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Release Manager and Test Planning & Execution Lead to oversee testing and release management for the Health Care and Administration Services (HCAS) systems. This role involves coordinating and executing test processes, planning releases, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring smooth deployment of system updates. The successful candidate will develop testing strategies, manage defects, and support release communications to ensure that HCAS systems function efficiently and meet customer expectations.

    Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, ensuring alignment with HCAS system requirements and release schedules.
• Lead and coordinate the execution of various testing processes, including integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Manage and maintain test scripts and documentation to ensure coverage of all test cases.
• Oversee defect management, working with technical teams to track, prioritize, and resolve defects identified during testing.

    User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

• Coordinate and manage UAT, working with HCAS customers to ensure that the system meets user requirements.
• Collect feedback from stakeholders during UAT and integrate changes as needed before release.

    Release Management:

• Lead the release planning process, coordinating with HCAS customers to make go/no-go decisions based on system readiness.
• Manage the entire release management process for current and future HCAS releases, ensuring proper oversight of deployment activities and post-release support.
• Develop and execute release communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of timelines, features, and changes.

    Deployment Oversight:

• Oversee the deployment of HCAS releases, ensuring the correct execution of plans and minimizing system downtime.
• Provide post-release monitoring and support, addressing any issues that arise from the release.

    Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in release management, software testing, and IT service management.
• Proven experience in test planning and execution, including integration, regression, and performance testing in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and UAT coordination, preferably within government or healthcare IT systems.

    Skills:

• Strong understanding of release management processes, from planning through deployment and post-release support.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, and documentation, with the ability to manage multiple testing phases simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of HCAS systems or similar healthcare IT environments is preferred.
