Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient Rehab

Location: North Providence, RI 02904

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join the inpatient rehabilitation team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients to help improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals to implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring physical therapy.
• Provide manual therapy and hand therapy services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care strategies to promote recovery.
• Participate in weekend rotations (every other weekend).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• Expertise in Manual Therapy and Hand Therapy is required.
• Experience working with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) is preferred.

Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Pending state licenses are accepted.
