Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - CCU CWR
Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Schedule Notes: ICU CCU HIGH ACUITY 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend required, holidays as needed, no on-call.

Float Requirement: To other ICU's.
Hours per Week: 36
Hours per Day: 12
Days per Week: 3

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU). This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on individual patient needs and assessments. The RN will also perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care for critical patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and determine priorities for care through comprehensive evaluation and planning.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients.
  • Perform therapeutic interventions and manage patient care.
  • Document care in accordance with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practices and support innovative care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of strong experience in critical care.
  • Background in medical-surgical nursing.
  • ICU/CCU high-acuity experience.
  • Float requirement: to other ICUs.

Education:

Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications & Licenses:

Required:

  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA).

Languages:

  • English (Speak, Read, Write).
