Job Title: Technician - Medical / Surgical
Shift Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (includes a 60-minute break)
Department: Medical/Surgical Department
Location: Bensonhurst, NY, 11215

Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Medical/Surgical Technician for a 12-week assignment. This role requires performing various medical tasks in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and hold MA certification.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient intake processes for both primary care and specialty appointments.
• Perform medical procedures including EKGs, bladder scans, and venipuncture.
• Administer diagnostic tests such as Strep and H-Pylori tests.
• Request prescription refills on behalf of patients and pharmacies.
• Execute other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• MA certification required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency in EKGs, bladder scans, venipuncture, and diagnostic testing.

Dress Code:

• Navy Blue scrubs are required.
