Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU CWR

Location: Neptune, NJ, 07754

Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts)

• No weekends required
• No holidays required
• No on-call requirement
• Float only if needed within perioperative services

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Duties include:

• Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs.
• Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care through individualized care plans.
• Performing therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Managing care of post-operative patients.
• Documenting care following standards and clinical priorities.
• Advocating for evidence-based practices and supporting care innovations.
• Providing patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing models.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care and PACU experience.
• Strong background in telemetry, must be telemetry certified.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of PACU experience preferred.

Education & Certifications:

• Required Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Languages:
