Job Title: School Registered Nurse 
Duration: 4 weeks contract (Possible extension)
Work Location: Elizabeth, NJ
Shift timing: 8:15 am to 3:05 pm EST

Requirement: RN License, AHA BLS

Job Duties:

• Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, healthcare providers, and community resources.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students' health needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with school staff to address students' physical and emotional health needs.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics, including hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and mental health.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate health education into the curriculum.
• Promote a healthy school environment by participating in wellness initiatives and health promotion activities.
• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, illness management, and emergency care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per school policies and state regulations.

Working Conditions:

• May require standing, walking, and lifting during the day.
• Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies and provide care in various settings.

Qualifications: Valid state nursing license (RN) required.
