Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Duration: 13 weeks contract (extendable)
Shift: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), rotating weekends required
Pay: $59 - $61/hour

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• CST Certification

Skills: 2 years of scrub experience on major OR procedures

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sterilize instruments in preparation for delivery.
• Transport an expectant parent going into labor to the delivery room.
• Work quickly and make fast decisions in fast-paced, potentially stressful situations.
• Prepare the patient for delivery, including providing clothing, washing, and performing any necessary pre-procedure tasks.
• Assist in keeping pregnant patients calm, answering their questions, and explaining upcoming procedures.
• Administer IVs and other medications to patients in labor.
